do you charge for your services?
A: There is no charge for the basic listing of product for sale on BicycleSurplus.com.
We earn our money from the commission only when your product sells. As
long as you provide us your list in a computer format like an Excel or
other popular spreadsheet format, we will list your product for sale on
our site FREE of charge. If your list is not available in a computer format,
for example a faxed list; there will be a data entry charge for the service.
Q: Will BicycleSurplus.com
buy my excess inventory?
A:
The short answer is — no. We don’t normally buy inventory
BUT, the real answer is maybe. Depending on the circumstances, we will

Q: How can
I get my stuff to sell faster?
A:
Price is always the magic factor in selling any item quickly. A member
of our sales staff will help you set a realistic price for your products.
To call additional attention to your products you may wish to advertise
them with a display ad on our pages. Please contact your BicycleSurplus.com
sales rep for details.
Q: Can I sell
items I've listed without BicycleSurplus.com being involved?
A:
When you list your surplus inventory with BicycleSurplus.com
you agree to give us an exclusive listing for a period of time. Much like
listing real estate with a broker. Please bring any specific concerns
to the attention of BicycleSurplus.com before listing the items

Q: How does
my company get paid for product we sell through BicycleSurplus.com?
A:
You will be paid by BicycleSurplus.com within 30 days of receipt
of product by the buyer.
Q: What if
when I get the stuff it is damaged or in not new condition?
A: Buyer assumes title to the shipment when it is conveyed to
the freight company by the selling company. Freight claims for shortages
and items damaged in transit must be handled with the freight carrier.
BicycleSurplus.com holds payment for product in escrow for 30
days after receipt of goods. We will help mediate any discrepancies in
specification or misrepresentation between the buyer and seller.
Q: How can
I get this stuff?

page. You can phone, e-mail, snail mail or fax our sales team with your
requests. We will contact you within 24 hours. We are not yet prepared
to accept orders directly online. We do accept Visa, Master Card and American
Express credit cards.
Q: How long
does it take to ship?
A:
Your order will be processed by BicycleSurplus.com within 24
hours of receipt of payment. Since shipments are made from many points
in the world and from many different companies there is no simple answer
to this question. BicycleSurplus.com will be glad to follow and
help expedite your orders when time is critical. Please discuss your needs
with our sales team when you place your order.
Q: Can I buy
it for less if I buy in quantity?
A:
If you see a group of items that you would like to buy or if you want
a sizable quantity or all of an item listed, you can make an offer. Using
the space provided for comments in the shopping cart you can make an offer
for the product or products you are interested in buying. |
